How We Respond (2020-2021)

How We Respond — When it comes to creating a more sustainable future, what matters is not our knowledge about sustainability but our actions — how do we respond to the challenges confronting us. Too often, sustainability challenges paralyze people, even those well-meaning and knowledgeable about the issues. 

How We Respond, co-presented with WPSU, explored the different ways people have responded to the many sustainability challenges, highlighting that there are many ways of contributing. Whether it is artists raising awareness and changing perspectives, activists infiltrating corrupt organizations, or trailblazers inspiring a new generation of explorers, we all have–as author Alice Walker notes–our own “stone to add to the pile.” This series celebrated these different responses and tried to inspire audiences to take their own steps.
